to apply for the job
Make a difference. Every day.
Welcome to habilitation, a knowledge organization characterized by respectful treatment, commitment, collaboration, and high competence! Here we meet everyone based on individual circumstances, and our work rests on Region Skåne's values - welcoming, driving, caring, and respect.
The habilitation area serves children, adolescents, and adults with permanent disabilities such as mobility impairment, autism, and/or intellectual disabilities. We also reach out to the patients' families, relatives, and staff. The operations are based on a cross-professional and person-centered approach, which means our patients have full participation in the planning, evaluation, and follow-up of interventions. Various professional categories work in the organization, including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, psychologists, social workers, special educators, dietitians, nurses, doctors, leisure consultants, lifeguards, administrators, and medical secretaries.
At the Habilitation Clinic for Children and Youth in Lund, we serve children and young people up to 18 years of age and their families. We have about 30 employees in the unit, and you will be one of several psychologists. Here we offer you a varied job, close teamwork with many professions, and good development opportunities.

As a psychologist with us, you will provide support, advice, guidance, and treatment to children, adolescents, and parents. Interventions are provided individually and/or in groups at the habilitation, at home, and remotely, for example via video calls. Furthermore, you participate in planning interventions together with children, adolescents, and families as well as their networks. You will conduct psychological assessments and investigations and collaborate with other stakeholders, such as preschools/schools and social services. We also have a close collaboration with other actors, such as Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
Upon employment, you will receive an introduction and guidance from experienced colleagues in the unit and in the area that will support you in your daily work based on your previous knowledge and experiences.
Working hours are scheduled on weekdays from 08:00 to 16:30, with evening hours until 18:30 on Mondays.
QUALIFICATIONS
You who are applying are a licensed psychologist with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. Additionally, you have language skills in Swedish that at least correspond to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale. We consider it an advantage if you have experience working with children and adolescents with disabilities, habilitation work, and/or child psychiatric activities. This is a position for you who thrive in collaborating in a team with colleagues from both your own and other professions. In your work, you are structured and self-driven with a good ability to initiate contact and build trust with children and young people. It is important to you that children and young people are heard and that their opinions are taken into account. You adapt easily to changing circumstances and see opportunities in changes. We are keen to find the right person for the position and therefore place great importance on personal suitability.
In the event of employment, a check against suspicion and criminal records will be conducted.
